We learned to draw three dimensional boxes using one-point linear perspective. Parallel lines appear to converge and disappear at the vanishing point. The 4th graders also created a color wheel out of the boxes.
We made torn paper collages in the style of Mexican artist Rodolfo Morales after reading the book Angel's Kite. Our collages show the season of our birthdays.
Artsonia is an online art museum for students. Parents can purchase items with their student's image, such as mugs, t shirts, etc. Our art program would receive 15% of all purchases.
How does it work? Art teachers choose one or two projects per year (or more) and post each student's artwork. The students would be assigned a number to maintain privacy. Parents are then able to log into Artsonia and view their child's artwork and select a customized keepsake. You can view options here.
Please take a quick moment to share your thoughts in the poll below. I would happily participate in Artsonia if an interest is indicated.
Thank you!
